Why AISEE exists
India is where knowledge and culture began, and today it is one of the most populous countries in the world. Indian students have proved their talent again and again, yet many of them are still unable to complete their studies.
A country grows with its newly educated generation. The government is doing its best to educate every child, but lack of money still stops many students halfway. AISEE was built to change that: to fund talented students so they get the best education.
How AISEE started
AISEE began in the southern part of India to improve the quality of students' education by supporting them in their learning environment. It has since grown into a national programme that conducts its scholarship examination, online and offline, for students in every part of India. Its main aim: to motivate the talent of India.
AISEE is an initiative by the Galleria Foundation, administered under a legally registered trust constituted in accordance with the Indian Trusts Act, 1882, reflecting its commitment to transparency, equal opportunity and educational empowerment.

About the Open Book Scholarship Exam
In an open book examination, candidates may refer to their textbooks and other approved study material while answering. They are evaluated on how well they understand the subject, not on how much they have memorised.
Questions test whether you can interpret and apply what you've learned.
Open book exams build the skills that matter in college and careers.
Without rote learning, studies feel fresher and you remember far more.
Is it easy?
Not necessarily: an open book exam needs a genuine understanding of the material and the ability to think critically and attempt questions strategically. With good preparation, note-taking and test-taking strategies, you can do very well.
Education is not merely a means of obtaining a degree. It is a lifelong process of mental development that does not end with a degree.
